hOT HOT HOT electric HO train Set 11.97 reg 49

That is the scale size I think. I signed up to be emailed when back in stock...I hope it is still at that price. I might stop in the local store tomorrow and check it out.

Yeah I signed up for the email notify too, but will they still be on sale then? I'd get one if I could.
Yes, HO is the scale (pronounced 'H' - 'O').

BTW, they closed all the KB's in our area.

I don't get it. What's funny?

I guess it's funny because of the fifth word in the title.
Wow, I wish my clients (and inlaws?) were that easy to amuse. you're kinda like a cat thrown a ball of string

😉

more like Beavis and Butthead chasing a laser pointer...

Dang I missed it again! I never got my email in stock notice, unless it went to my gigantic spam bulk folder. Next time, someone PM me and don't bump the freakin thread! 😀

Same here, just closed the one in the mall.

slickone: I didn't get my e mail notification either. What you've got to do is remember to keep checking the site and then jump when it's back in stock.

You'd do better to get this one for your son:

I know it's more expensive, but the LifeLike one at KBToys has a loco that will run poorly, especially at low speeds. The Athearn loco has better electrical pickup, drives all of the wheels and has flywheels to make it run very smoothly. The quality of the freight cars will be much better as well.

Shoot Now they are still out of stock and the price is $49! Damnit i am always a day late and a dollar short on the hot deals 🙁

I think I had a Lifelike engine when I was a kid and it ran great, and much much better than my Tyco engines. I think it had a flywheel in it since when you backed off the throttle, it'd slow to a stop, unlike the Tyco's that instantly stopped. I still have it somewhere, maybe at my parents house.
