search for Wega at 800.com

$899+$49 shipping = $949

$949 - $45 (sale) - $100 (MSN passport) = $805 - $75 gift check = $730 - $100 (PM w/ crazyeddies) = $630

SHIPPED!!!!

Sounds like a good deal to me

/edit even hotter if you AMEX BLUE PM with crazyeddies ($754)

WARNING!

Be careful when you use MSN Passport to make purchases from their participating merchants in order to get the cash check from MSN. According to MSN Passport site, only products from participating stores labeled Get your MSN Holiday Reward will be qualified for the MSN rebates. Today is the first day the MSN Passport Holiday Reward begins and obviously most merchants have not updated their website to include the symbol of MSN Holiday Reward! I doubt it may create a hassle that MSN will not honor the rebates if you buy something without the reward symbol.

If you're pricematching from Crazy Eddie, shouldn't you do $754 (price @ crazy eddies) - $75 gift check = $678 (not $630).

I can't seem to finish my purchase transaction when I use the passport checkout. It takes my Passport login then puts me back to the checkout page with option to choose passport or the regular checkout. Another can't finish the transaction! One more thing, I didn't see that MSN holiday Reward thing on the product so I'm not even sure if I'm getting the $100 rebate.

Won't AMEX include the shipping cost from Crazy Eddie? So the total Crazy Eddie price wouldnt be 754?

Not threadcrapping, just asking.

Looks like a great deal though!

Too bad I dont have AMEX Blue... :-(

I eChatted with this person at MSN eShop help. She said this:

"Yes, it has to be labeled. As far as I know, it's not that many."

guys, maybe you can answer my question. can you use msn passport and do amex blue pricematch? wouldn't it just show up as a msn charge on the amex blue statement? would it show that you actually charge the sony wega with your amex blue on the statement? otherwise how can you pricematch if it doesn't show up on the statement?

Best price match would be to buy from sears.com and go to the local sears store and get the pricematching credit taken out. Easier than Blue. I did this before on a Sony DSC-S75 digital camera. Of course, they deduct $20 for shipping!!!

I am VERY happy with my 36 Wega I did through this deal last Thanksgiving!
ended up with a 1600 TV for about 1100.

too bad theyve made things tougher this year with the passport rebate, the
required logo, etc.

good luck
