jeffwright, if you want the rebate simply drive to the local best buy and ask them to print one out for you. i'm pretty damn sure they won't jail you for that. it's that easy. unless there aren't any near you, i can send you the one i printed out. let me know.

btw: i called the local best buy and they stated the drive is still $299 on the shelf tag, but they didn't check the updated price or what, i think we usually update the shelf tags in the morning, so someone may want to double check it at the register.

I know...but still, this rebate does not show up online. I wanted validation before I wasted my time.
It didn't matter anyway, as my local BB was OOS. I ended up buying it at CC instead.

wazing2, how about u prove to us that u really did get this drive for $159(before any rebates) and shut our asses up? If u cant then i suggest u stop posting crap threads and take ur little self elsewhere.
 
wazing2, it is not Tiger355 who you should be worrying about getting banned, I would suggest you drop a Dead in the title and edit the post where you call Tiger an @sshole and drop this issue all together. And it seems that the general consenses here is that this deal is a no go, so either produce a copy of your receipt showing the price or forget about the whole deal.
 
I was just at a Best Buy in Cincinnati (Eastgate) OH and they have the deal as....120GB ATA100 WD 299.99 with a 150.00 Mail in Rebate.
 
i just went to bb b&m yesterday, the 120gb is $149.99 after $150 rebate expired 5/18. so today is the last day for the rebate.
 
For mod's sake!!! Please change the title to "dead" or "LOCK PLEASE", and quit posting this drivel! One post would've been sufficient..... Three is just ridiculous!

Wazing2, just on a side note brother, if you have the time to come on here and post curses at Tiger355 (not saying that either are right for the usage of cuss words), why can't you post some more specifics on the pricing error/special pricing so that more of us can benefit from this seemingly hot deal?
