Hmm was there 17 minutes before they opened they had 5 copieson the shelf, I left with 1 and the price

I thought the same thing when I saw the ad...just the way the text is oriented with the picture...looks like it means 19.99 for Collectors Edition. Still a good find though
 
21.19 in NJ Mt Laurel and they had at least 7-10 more on the shelf and I got ther about an hour after they opened. Good deal. 🙂
 
kamaboko... couldnt you just DL everything from steam and just use the cd key? I'm not 100% sure as I havent bought hl2 myself.... well I guess steam wouldnt provide you with half life .... try emailing valve about it?
 
Yes. When I bought a new computer, I just downloaded steam and all the files again. When it was all loaded I just entered my steam name and pass and it worked just like it should.
 
Quick note, look on the side of the box to see if you can get a dvd rom version. My install went perfectly but it was 5 cds 😱
 
Fot those having bad CDs,
Try installing HLS with all the options checked (including CS source code)during installation.
When I unchecked CS sourcecode option, it also gave me an error in CD4.
It took almost an hour to find what's wrong on internet, but basically Valve put so much effor into anti-copying, but not the simple installation program.

I hope this works, because this is one of the best games except the ending.

Are you doing a custom install? I was doing that and it would error out on disk 4 also, I had to do a complete install to get it to work.
