Checked the order status of both of my orders, my 2nd one is only showing the 2 software titles....sent an e-mail to cancel the order, gonna make a call to staples tomorrow to confirm the cancel as well...

My first order is still going as planned though....::fingers crossed::

Of course, it's area-specific for the stock. It just happens to be out of stock in my part of NJ, but it's way likely to be in stock in another state. Your mileage may vary. Good luck all.

I was just responding to the "don't call, maybe they won't notice" post.

I think they WILL notice. However, knowing Staples, they may well choose to honor the deal - this is where some luck is involved. And the first people in on the deal usually stand the best chance of getting it.

My guess is that Staples will be out of stock on Handspring Visor Deluxes by tomorrow morning.

apoppin, I totally agree. it's known that there are a ton of ferengi on AT, as well as other forums. Staples will be out of these by tomorrow, even though the coupon is supposed to be good until 9/1/01. We'll see. Good luck all.

I'm on summer vacation. 2 weeks left before school. This is my only vacation considering that I've been working/taking classes the whole summer. Also, my CC has also been charged with the purchases that I've made for the Visor Deluxes.

You can always order the orange/green one. Those are in stock, if you don't mind paying $30 more.
The coupon is good until 9/1/01, yes, but they may not give the $150 off as they might be doing so now.

haha i just ordered 2 graphite ones... color doesn't make a difference to me, as the blue one and the ice one are sold out in my area anyways... so i got one for me and my gf... if she doesn't want it, i'm sure i can find someone else who wants it! great find! thanks!

BTW, I seem to have understated and underestimated AT.

Using Fatwallet as a guide, they have 64 replies to this identical thread and 2378 views.

AT has 220 replies so probably 8,000 views. If just 1/2 the members ordered just one, Staples has 5,000 orders by now (from 2 forums). Phew!

In researching the thread, it appears Staples intended the software to be free - $60, probably not the $150 coupon.
