<< The Gigabyte combo is HOT. At newegg, the 2100+ is $260 and the mobo is $120. So savings over newegg is $80. The Gigabyte IS kt266a though, and with a 2100+ I would take the step up to the Gigabyte GA-7VRXP.
Thanks for the post

FYI...just to clarify for others, the Gigabyte MB in this TWCO combo is the older AMD761 chipset. >>
The 761 chipset might be "older", but it's still Gigabyte's flagship motherboard and typically costs MORE than the VIA versions of the board.
The 761 has fewer compatability issues than the VIA, is more stable and is the only AMD Athlon XP ready chipset varified by NVidia for full compatibility with the GeForce4 line of video cards.
This is a great board for the anti-VIA as it has the AMD NB, USB 2.0 courtest of an NEC controller rather than a VIA controller and Creative on board sound instead of VIA AC'97.
I use a 761 based board myself. Tried to replace it twice with two VIA baed mistakes. Keep coming back to this board. I'll not make that mistake again unless another board comes out with a newer version of the chipset, that supports the Thoroughbred.
