Tax free weekend is state wide this weekend on all Clothes and School Accesories.

Was at office depot today and asked if desks, chairs, computers, and computer components are tax free.

but that might be YMMV.

Um, they're not supposed to be tax free (or is that what the smiley is for?)

And it only applies to garments and items under $100 (I believe the total can be over $100 but each seperate item has to be under $100)

I'm just stating what the sales manager there said, and also why i placed the YMMV.

But as for the clothes I'm too poor to be buying any garments over $100 anyway :).

Unless they were running a special that manager was a douche (most desks/good chairs are over $100 anyway)

You didn't happen to go by the one in Lewisville do you? (I know two complete morons who work there)

Nice in theory, but all stores are packed tomorrow so I stay clear... Found lots of deals today on the pre-no-tax weekend specials :)
