True, I didn't think about that. I guess it's a better deal if you already have an AM3+ board.

50% less than the cheapest online alternative.... newegg has it for $159.99 - 10 AP = $149.99 which is the same price as amazon.com

Even I'm tempted to jump in on this deal since I haven't had an AMD CPU in about a decade now.

Not saying it isn't a good deal but back in december the 8350 was selling for $150.- WITH a $40.- mobo discount. If you need a mobo I'd say that's a better deal.

Always another great deal coming along! Sorry you missed it, there is an 8320 for $100.- at microcenter right now. Pretty sweet deal but NOT the best deal ever.

The machines are available in kit form for under $200. Unfortunately getting the crystals to power them is impossible (search "Tiger Direct" + "Soyo Rebate").
