When I add it to my cart it still comes up $9.99! I already bought this at target for $9.99, but I could not resist to try this. I have not opened my target one, and could have returned it if this free one would have worked out. Oh well. Thanks,

Hmm. Comes up as 9.99 for me despite the initial page showing free. Am I missing something here or have they pulled it? Thanks anyway OP.
 
The OP probably didn't test the link and just copied the errored link from one of the deal sites. Check this thread here.

Look for my post at the bottom with a working link. The free copy has to be downloaded...for $5, they'll ship you one. It's an 18Meg download.

Just checked it......Link works.

Make sure u select "Dont Add" on the second page

I downloaded a free copy this morning.
 
There are a couple links floating around that don't work and at least one that does. Go to SD forum, look up the taxcut thread, read the comments. Page down a dozen comments or so, that link just worked for me.
 
Read my post a couple above here. I had to try a few different links, but I found one that was free (this last Thursday).

 
They mailed me a free copy without my asking for it - I guess because I used it once a few years ago. Threw it out... I hated it, won't go back to it.

Ditto! Been using them for the past 5 years (online the last 2 years). I've compared it to TaxCut & TurboTax and the returns come out about the same.

$16 for Fed & State including E-filing both. Not bad.
 
Still no dice on any of the 4 links I have tried. Back to Taxslayer.com. Been using them the last 4 or 5 years. $9.99 for State and Federal.
 
bought Turbotax deluxe and state... then go to file fiance's taxes...$30 for FED and State filing!! WHAT A RIP!!

Good program...bad fees... no more rebates for one free filing either..
