They can send you all the bills they want but if you don't give them a credit card number they can't do a thing about it. Never give away a CC# for "free" deals, as you are likely to be charged for it when you don't send back some sort of correspondance is a ridiculously short amount of time... or some other cheap scheme like that.


That being said, I'm glad the last free sub. to PC Magazine is running out for me. This magazine has only news from 2 months ago and is mostly just one big advertisement. It might be good from time to time if you don't want to go searchin for reviews on stuff, but it seems as if they only cover boxed items... (from what I've seen, you'll find reviews on Dell and Gateway machines, but you won't find reviews for motherboards and sound cards...)

Know what you mean. I don't think I can take another story about spam. Or home networking. It is really getting repetitive. At least I'm getting the digital edition now and it isn't cluttering up my house anymore - although the digital edition is a bit spotty as far as delivery goes. I got no issues for a couple of months, then one day I got three issues in a 48 hour period. Plus it took me forever to figure out that Geforce 4 Ti antialiasing causes the Zinio reader freak out and just display a blank page.
