For those who care to get it a couple of days early, called gamestop in Irvine. They will be selling Doom 3 starting at 7:00pm Mon. Guess they are trying to undercut BB for their midnight sale...

Guess I know what I will be doing after work...

Went to a Gamestop here and they were paranoid about even admitting they had it in the back room. They wouldn't let me get my pre-order until Tuesday.

Just curious, but has anyone's EBgames.com preorder shipped? Mine hasn't and I sorta wish that I had selected in-store pick-up when I placed the order.

Best Buy shouldn't be selling them early. I work there and checked when I saw that it was being sold already and there is a message specifically saying not to sell Doom 3 until tomorrow on our computer systems(which are the same at almost all BBs).

I talked to a Gamestop worker on Saturday who also claimed that his store would be selling Doom 3 beginning at 7:10 pm Monday. Don't know if they actually are.

I stopped by at ebgames in chicago (Elston). They had some copies even if you dont preorder!

Personally, and before you attack me for what I am about to say, remember, these are just personal opinions, ............ I don't think it's all the Hype people make it out to be.

I was able to purchase this game along with 5 of my other friends the other night, 2 girls, 4 guys. We also happened to have lunch today at Applebees. Basically, the 6 of us those it looked cool, but got old after a while. Same thing, move ... aim, fire, repeat.

I'm sure many out there will be happy with it however.
