HOT...for Canon A40 owners. Nice case for $5.33 shipped!

For everyone who has been picking up Canon A40s in the recent deals, gateway is selling the official case that canon sells on their own site.

They have it for $4.95 plus free shipping and tax where applicable. I ordered Sunday and I just receiving it today. Canon sells this for $6.99 + $6.00 shipping.

You can see that they are the same case even though gateway's page says it's for the A10 & A20 only. I wasn't expecting much, but it's actually a pretty nice case. It fits the camera pefectly and there is a cool pouch in the front for CF and other small accessories.

Nice deal! Just wanted to mention, though, that if you don't like this case, Target's got a bunch of camera bags specifically made for digital cameras on clearance (at least in my area).
I got a nice Samsonite bag (it looks somewhat similar to this one but it's all black) for $6.24, marked down from $25. They had several styles to choose from that were on clearance (YMMV).

This case is back in stock and shipping is still free. This case is much nicer than a Samsonite case I had. Two secure velcro straps hold in in so the camera is easy to get in and out. The pouch in the frnt even has elastic holders for 4 AA batteries.
