AOE III = $37.99 (cd-rom)
F.E.A.R. = $36.99 (cd-rom)
Quake 4 = low price guarantee! (?)

Info based on local newspaper (DFW area) this morning on 10/14.
I can imagine prices must be good at all Fry's stores nation-wide. I do hope other stores BB, CC, etc may do price matching too.

PS. Downloaded and played F.E.A.R sp demo last night and its graphic was stunningly frightened. I'm going to get this one for sure.

When Battlefield 2 came out, Fry's had the best price in town (Los Angeles).

I bet they will do the same again.

I guess Quake IV should be $37.99 .

FEAR is tempting, even though is kinda heavy for my 6600GT.

Anyway Fry's has always the best prices in town on the new hot games :D.

I wonder how much the DVD version of F.E.A.R. is going to cost. I'd rather spend my money on that.

I've read on the official FEAR forums that the retail version of the game will run much better than the demo. I can't wait till 10/18 I'm buying all three!

BUMP!

Just got back from the Sunnyvale, CA Fry's. Picked up F.E.A.R. for $36.99 (cd-rom). They also have the special DVD version for $54.99. Looked like they still had about 20 copies or so at 8:30 AM.

Cool. I noticed a good frame-rate improvement in the last MP demo :).

I guess I'm gonna buy one today at Fry's. They have also the new Fire Emblem for GC for $37. I love strategic-RPG so I guess I'm gonna like it :D .

I guess another deal is to pricematch this at CC. THey offer a free $10 gift card as well(I guess you could always buy something for $10 then return it)

It's $54.99 at Fry's. I'm hoping someone knows if there are any B&Ms that will sell it for less.

I'm running it on my 6600GT. It's essential that you download the latest drivers. I was using old drivers and i am not kidding...20fps improvement over the old ones. Now it runs great with everything on medium and some on max with 4x AF on textures.

F.E.A.R. (cd-rom): Picked up mine (last one) at a local cc. After PM + tax = $38.63. I also got $10.00 instant g/c from cc. Hence the bottom line = $28.63. Can't complain. Where I live there are Fry's stores so YMMV as always.

You know I was thinking about doing that but thought CC would turn down my PM. Oh well....kick ass game though....so scary....

Quake 4 will be out today as well but not until 4pm (per Fry's). Someone please post the price you pay for this game since Fry's paper does not seem to say how much besides the reading of "LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE"

Which game is better, Quake 4 or Fear, both graphically & its AI? I played Fear SP demo and liked it and bought the game already but not yet installed.

haha - a whole thread and nobody says dick about AOE3 - In case you are interested in this RTS title, READ THE USER REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY. Lots of faint praise and some actual damnation.
