Feel free to share your info on where u get your eye exam and glasses.

Don't want to sound like I'm thread crapping, but I have heard that a lot of the online discount eyeglass stores wire their orders to mainland China--that's why they can cut prices as they do. Not that I'm against those folks making a buck, but there's something about it that seems unfair to me.

According to ppl at FW, it is made in Hong Kong.

and what unfair, capitalistic society is ALWAYS unfair.

FYI, the same drugs in canada is less expensive than US.

u enter the spec online, the machine spit out the lens.

read the freaking thread at FW and come back.

grow up.

It's a little hinky for an outfit that calls themselves "America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses" to have their product MIC.

I was interested, checked the 2nd site - all their lenses are high index polycarbonate. Unfortunately, for my prescription, the polycarbonate lenses cause too much chromic aberation. I can only see clearly if I'm looking straight forward.

i didnt do this deal but joined their eyecare club $99 for unlimited eye exams for 3 years is pretty sweet

and got some contacts

the cheap prices were only for plastic lenses and it was more for polycarbonate
but the frames were inexpensive for a lot of nice ones

I think it's very fair for those who have vision problems and cannot afford traditional opticians that charge 2-4x what is being offered here.

Theframes are cheap but the lenses are about the same as if I got them here ($179.99) for a decent pair - am I missing soemthing?

My eyes are so bad I need special contacts. I think it is due to the astigmatism. I can only see clearly 3-6 inches from my eyes... Year supply from my current source is $220+ I forgot the exact but it was above $220.
I wish I had normal eyes. Darn genetics.

I ordered from Optical4less.com .

Complete Rx eyeglasses $29 us + $8 shipping . Waived if you order more than one . Lenses are AR coating included .

The prescription is perfect and the lenses quality too .

I highly recommand them .
