Missed out of this past deal, didnt realize what a wonderful printer it is.

Staples has it for $149.98 - 12% customer appreciation coupon, about $18 - $30 off $150 coupon - $20 mir = $81.98, assuming staples lets me use both $30 off $150 in-store and the cust. apprecation coupons.

 
Those of you that did this might want to check the status of your two Staples rebates. Upon checking, I found both invalid with status of postcard printed. The $30 GC rebate said they didn't receive the original rebate form, when I did the rebate online and printed out the online submission form. The $20 rebate said the submission wasn't correct. So, with documentation in hand, I called. I gave the operator both tracking numbers and told him these invalidations were BOGUS. He immediately told me he'd validate them. Within minutes both showed processing rebate. This is good rebate service, but shouldn't have happened int he first place.

i got the similar problem with my staple 30$ gift card! it claim my purchase is not in the promotion period! Which I order on aug9, i also call them up and they fix it for me, i never have much problem with them before, but this is the first time, normally i trust staples rebate the best!

But yeah, guy, whoever order this should check their rebate status!

I'm getting an "invalid date" for the $30 Staples GC card as well as a "invalid UPC" for the $20 Epson rebate but I sent them a copy of the cpu as they requested.

ok, nevermind...the csr guy fixed it...stupid anandtech ppl...u're all lazy...coulda' saved me so much hassle...blah.

It appears to me that you were the lazy one. If you would have looked at the rebate form, the phone number is on there. If you submitted online then you should have just gone to Staples.com and pulled up the rebate form to get the phone number.

uh, well i didn't get my postcard till yesterday so i was only anxious for the money rather than being dumb and just simply whining.

Did you have to post "where is the phone number" 3 times? Geeze, that is too excessive. All rebate forms usually have phone numbers on them or some will have circuitcityrebates, and rebateshq and wheresmyrebate and the phone number.
 
I got one for $120 just now and I believe theres about $40 in rebates. I know its not as hot as the original deal, but this seems like a decent deal for an all in one machine.

ok, rebateshq.com never posted a phone number on their website - i searched for a good 45 min and never saw it.
- i called the csr guy and he fixed up the date cuz the rebate form asked for the shipping form which reflected a date 3-4 days after the rebate expiration and i simply told the csr guy the sales date on my sale receipt and he fixed it
- i sent a copy of the upc...typo...shessh get over it
- i posted my msg 3 times with 3-4 days in between...so i didnt' spam since no one responded... ok???
 
Please tell me it didn't take you 3 days to finally look for the phone number on the rebate form. It's bad enough you looked for 45 mins on rebateshq's web site. Any you were calling us stupid

Has anyone checked the epson website for the status of their rebate? It's been a couple of weeks and my rebate isn't listed yet.

I did the same. Have your tried to price match ? I tried to PM it to Newegg, bu the CSR was aware of the coupon and wouldnt PM. If you get an ignorant CSR you could get lucky. I have had it before

 
Unfortunately, I didn't get my Epson $20 MIR. I got my other two rebates, $20MIR and $30MIR GC, from Staples.

This is what I got from Epson:

"Thank you for contacting Epson Customer Service. Unfortunately our forms do not state that Staples does not qualify, however it does state; "Other retailers may require use of their own in-store coupon, rather than this coupon, to claim this rebate." We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.
