Hot Dog and Coke $0.25 at Fry's Tomorrow & Sat.

I saw an ad for this today in the LA Times. Fry's in Southern CA are having a grand opening celebration for a new store. Starting at 8am tomorrow and Saturday only $0.25 for hot dog and a Coke! Great deal for a hot dog and Coke! There's probably going to be some hot deals on electronics and stuff also. It might just be for Southern CA Fry's stores.
 
they had this in the Palo Alto Frys last year. it was great. only problem was the line to get the HD and drink.
 

Nothing like waiting in line for 45 minutes for a cat-meat hotdog and a small cup of ice with a bit of Coke.

I'll cough up the full $1.50 and get the same stuff at the 7-11, and then I get chili.
 
LOL! Definitely turn down any hot dog that has a Fry's "returned item" sticker on it. 🙂

do you think the new store is stocked with all new merchandise, or did they ship a bunch of returned items from various fry's to this one?
 
hah should i arrive early? i havent been to the last few but the others were pretty tame. ill be the one with the ANAND IS SUCK sign
 
I read somewhere in the LA Times that this new Fry's is gonna be a "megastore".

Take that to mean what you will (Maybe they call all their stores a "megastore"), but I kinda got the impression that it will be bigger than a regular Fry's. Don't know if it's true or not.

Might just have to drive down there to check it out. Been to every Fry's store in the LA area, so why stop now? 😀
 
Cost of gas to drive to Frys: 5 dollars.
Cost of Hot Dog and Coke : 25 cents
Cost of every lamer and their parents in your face: Priceless

Just a handy little tip for you guys when you go to Fry's next time if you only see returned/open box items. Look up, the sneaky bastards at Fry's like to put the new items on the top shelf and the returned crap at eye level.
 
I've been seeing this Fry's off the 60 freeway for a long time now and it's been bugging me... Good to hear it's finally opening, don't got to drive to the Anaheim location anymore... But damn, traffic going through the 60 east is horrible in the afternoons...
 
Finally I don't have to drive to Anaheim or Burbank to purchase or return things. I drove by the new frys everyday to work, I think I will visit the new frys everyday if they open 8am everyday. Anyone going to join me at 8am to get their first hot dog and soda (first one usually is not RMA or refuburish)
