I just ordered 5x PE2850 dual 2.8 GHz, 320 GB SCSI RAID5 servers w/ 4GB RAM for 13000 (shipped with tax) last night (that's $2600 each). I'm sure larger companines get them for less, but my point is July 31 is the end of the Dell fiscal quarter. EVERYTHING should be cheap. Maybe check regular items for huge discounts right now rather than go refurb. Dell is notrious for end of quarter/year discounts, so be watchful this week. They need to book and bill by the end of the month, so move fast since these take a week to build.
