Not bad, Dell deals have been lacking. I'm looking for a P4 Dell with a DVI lcd deal.

Thanks. I've been keeping an eye on Dell for a couple of inexpensive workstations but I haven't looked for a few days. This will do nicely. :)

I got a similar deal in the mail (66844-s50604pc) - $250 coupon (that doesn't seem to work online).

It has a gig of memory, a 17" LCD, and a CD burner for the same price. Might not be a bad choice for an office PC. What is a P4 521 @ 2.8 Ghz equivalent to on the AMD side?

Why do you think end of July will be good?

Release of Intel Core2 (Conroe) combined with dropping prices of AMD cpu's and Intel Netburst cpu's.

IMHO, it's a slammin deal for family members. Unless Dell's willing to throw in more memory or free upgrade to a UltraFP for a similar or lower price, I can't imagine the end of July deals getting much better.

nope, no pci-express x16 slot on this model.

you need to get atleast a dimension 5150 for one.
