They're pretty decent though...I checked for a deal on a 700m laptop...THAT I would have bought, no questions asked. 😛

I'd say they're about another 25% off it seems of a normal 'discounted/coupon' deal...just a rough guess. Except the ones he got for <$300. 😉

Yea, a nice laptop deal would be good. But my current desktop costed just a little more than $700 and it kills these Dells performance wise...

These are most likely ALL brand new, physically. Dell dumping inventory late at night so consumers will not see them going so cheap. I saw over 30 <$300 systems dumped in a matter of seconds. There are a number of scripters getting a ton that you all will never see. Be glad to get what you can.

bamacre is the master of the Dell Outlet. I'm secretly stalking him on eBay and it seems like he's doing pretty well for himself.

argh!! I had some pretty decent systems for 300-500 in my cart at around 230 this am, but I fell asleep! what times are they dropping?

Ugh. I stayed up until 2 trying to decide if I should pull the trigger on a system. I had one in my cart for ~$450 after tax and shipping, but then I saw one with a dual core, 1GB ram, dual layer DVD burner, audigy 2 ZS, and Office 2003 basic for $524 ($595 after tax and shipping). After deciding the "extras" were worth $150, I removed the first one from my cart and then finally pulled the trigger on the 2nd system (but I couldn't get the additional 2% because there was some DPA problems). I'm thinking about cancelling my order and building a system with an AMD x2...

Thats why I bought it , I can spend the money on the 7800 card, sell the office 2003 basic for some money , and have myself a xps 600 for under like 1300.00

xps is dell's 'good service and support' for home users line. so, it's a home computer.
