Is there any way to get an email every time a new topic is posted in Hot Deals? Or some way to only list the ones posted today? I've missed some awesome deals, and would like to improve.

I'd like to be on a list that somebody compiles with the BEST hot deals, like the super, super ones. I miss almost all hot deals.

you can get a daily email of deals from one of the *other* deal sites...i think its the large billfold one (is that name still taboo around here??) that and AT usually have a pretty similar list of deals

<edit>
gehhhhh.....check out spoofee.com, fatwallet's hot deals section, and sign up for FW's daily email...between those and the AT deals section you should be able to keep up on pretty much everything. I don't know if Spoofee has a daily email, but they've got a deals of a day thing thats usually the better stuff available that is posted about on the other boards. Hope this helps!

Why not start a daily mailing list for this kind of stuff then? I am sure a few frequent hotdeal users could get together at day's end and send out the really smoking deals :)

I'd like people to randomly mail me various denominations of U.S. currency on a daily basis as well.

Back in the day when $0 Amazon DVD price mistakes were more common I had a cell phone/pager e-mail alert list. We must have had over 500 members, I think there's only about 50 old timers left now.

An e-mail list would be the best way to go and send very short e-mails to your cell phone. I currently belong to one but it's private and invite only.
