Last night I pre-ordered Chocolat and The Family Man from Amazon.com, I'll probably never watch these movies but maybe once.

Then I pre-ordered the new Die Hard set (6 DVDs) for $50 shipped from Amazon.com I'll probably never watch any of these DVDs.

I was VERY close to pre-ordering The Godfather DVD set until I read that Best Buy and other retailers are going to heavily promote this and will probably be able to undercut Amazon's price. So for now I'm safe.

I will probably order the Soprano's first season on DVD for $50 sometime this week.

I'm about to order a $30 Keyspan USB remote control just because it's cool and $20 cheaper than retail.

I've been discussing the differences between the Hyundai Elantra and Sonata with a secret member here via PM.

Finally this one wins the prize ... every bone in my body aches to order this.

Is there a cure?

I know the feeling. I almost bought this even thought I don't really need it. Thankfully I resisted. :)

Ross, you have a serious problem. But, if you insist on buying that laptop, you probably won't use it just as you've neglected all your other purchases. Please send it to me, I really need one. In fact, send me everything you don't use, I'll use them for you :)

You wouldn't watch Die Hard? you're nuts!

but seriously, why would you buy it? I consider myself a DVD "collector" as well but I won't buy stuff that I'd never watch!

I've got my habit a bit more curbed perhaps, but I find it hard to pass up a big bargain... regardless of actual need/usage

Americans are bearing the largest burden of credit card debt in history (that good economy had to come from somewhere).

If it helps any, you're not alone.

<< U.S. consumers who once saved an average of 8 percent of their take-home pay only a few years ago now spend about 1 percent more than they earn. Payments on personal debt for such things as credit cards and student loans used to consume less than 6 percent of after-tax income. Now that figure is at nearly 8 percent, the highest level in more than a decade, and still rising. >>

Someone PM'd me asking how you could get the new Die Hard (6 DVD) set for $50 shipped, full details can be found here.

I can barely afford this habit, I have A LOT of credit card debt it's this vicuous cycle. I'll pay off a card then charge it up, pay it off, charge it up, etc. At least my CitiBank card gives me back 1% rebate.

kami - I've already seen all the Die Hard movies with the last being my favorite, a good mix of action and comedy. This is really sickening but I think I just bought it because it's a "good deal".

HELP ME!

Thanks and I would agree, I have never seen an episode but love those type's of mob shows so I'll probably enjoy all 13 episodes.

I'm addicted to buying crap that I don't need just because it's a bargain not because I need or will use it.

Or are you blinded by this because you're afflicted with the same disease?

:)

well rossman.. seems to me like you've got the same problem that a lot (edit: emphasis on A LOT ok.. not all.. i am in no way sexist... wyst...) of females have.... its the, "oh look.. its on sale.. if i buy it I will save so and so..." when in reality.. it should be.. "oh look.. its on sale.. if i buy it i will be SPENDING so and so because Im never gonna use it."

just look at everything as spending instead of saving..

now on the other hand, if its something you need, then looking at it as saving is probably a good idea....

luv2chill - I hope you bought today's Buy.com DOTD? This time it was a kit which had more than the last DOTD.
