Hot Deals 1st page getting smaller

i too hate having to scroll down (on 700m with its small screen and all) to find the first real post and not one about the "Deal Scavenger" finding a half assed deal that nobody in their right mind would hop on anyways most of the time.
I say loose gmail, b&M(cause they do that in OT anyways) and howdoi (in the threads anyways) too.
Bam down to three stickies...oh how nice it would be...

It's not that many... change your default page view to display more threads.

I have mine set at max (I think around 200?).

500 😕 thats a lot of threads

Awesome. That's why I can see all of today's AND yesterdays threads on one page.

Whenever a thread mushrooms to 200+ posts, it's just 2 pages for me not "OMG look at the post on page 19!!!".

That gets annoying when you're reading a fast-moving thread. You have to wait for each long-ass thread reload just to see who posted next. I like reading as much as I can before having to go to the next page, but following threads closely gets really annoying when you have to wait and wait and wait for the thread to reload, loading each of the 200 posts per page *again* just to read a new post. Usually it's not a problem with broadband, but sometimes with forum congestion or ISP/computer issues, it gets really annoying. Each time I really get into a thread that's several hundred posts long, I keep telling myself that I should lower the posts per page to 50 so new content will load faster... but I never do.

Do it now.

I have mine at the lowest TPP and MPP, which is 20.
