Good price. At $100 it would be smoking. I don't think it'll be too long before we see 5700U and 9600Pro/XT at around $100.

Great deal. Checked on Newegg and this card is $150ish. Some of the other models go for as much as $180. Almost as much as 9800 pro. I'm hoping to get a 9800 pro soon. Not meaning to stray off topic, but do you think anyone will buy my softmodded card (9700pro) for $125 shipped in the FS/FT forums?

avalon....your card is a 9700 pro and you have modded it to what?

at any rate a 9700 pro will easily sell for 125....like in minutes

its a 256bit bus 9500 moded to a 9700pro, and it could most likely get 125$, but selling it to upgrade to a 9800pro would hardly be worth the effort.

...um... except GameVE has a 5900XT for $153. $20 more for ~double the performance. I'm glad someone finally priced a 5700U competitively with the 9600Pro (which has been at ~$130 for a long while), but it's not *that* hot a deal.

hey, I would NOT buy from gameve.com here is why:

http://www.resellerratings.com/seller2651.html

I have looked at the rewiews, 20% of all the reviews said they were very dissatisfied, that is not counting all the ppl who were somewhat dissatisfied. If you encounter a problem with your purchase ( card doa, etc) expect to be F***ed over and lied to. not to mention they charge a %15 restocking fee for anything you return, no matter what.

Hopefully you're not looking to sell your (modded to) 9700 Pro for a (considerably) slower 5700 Ultra.

isnt GameVE.com the same company that had the "issues" selling the BFG 5900nus?

I got this card because it was so cheap. I have to say that it is excellent. Check out my scores on the bottom, they're much better than I thought they were going to be, and for 130 shipped I couldnt have gotten an 9600xt, so i was going to get a 9600 pro, and I havent seen any that compete with those scores. One thing though, this card is HUGE! Ordered monday, on my doorstep on wednesday, they seem like a great site, someone else get it!

Turns out it was the monitor cable actually. Freaked me out crazy though. I just went with less of an overclock because I didnt need it. Im so glad it wasn't my video card though, whew.
