I agree with the other snowboarders who have posted warnings here. You want to make sure that what you buy is very durable and reliable. Also the boots must feel very comfortable and not be too tight (will cut off circulation and cause extreme soreness) or too loose (foot will move around in boot too much, compromising board control; and step-in's don't have the advantage of binding straps that can help make a boot tighter if it is a bit loose) - gambling on the fit isn't a good idea and can make your experience unpleasant to the point where you may hate snowboarding for the wrong reasons.

picked up a vision snowboard, dnr boots, and marker bindings........ they do look a little bit cheesy (who wears brown snowboarding boots?) but you can't beat a full set for $110..... you should also get an additional 10% off for buying the whole set at once but the guy wanted to call it in so i said forget it since i was waiting in line forever.... had a whole bunch of 8.5's and 7.5's but only one 9 and no 9.5's (which is my size)..... my friend wanted this and i told him $250 was a good price for a set so he'll be happy....... also, there is 50% off all clearance apparel and 25% off ALL SHOES! yes, every single pair, no restrictions....

I looked around, talked to the dude some about the boards, they were good deals and all, just old boards. I ended up only buying a pair of compact tasco binoculars for 9.99.

No big boards at the Sportmart by me...150's was about the biggest. The boots/bindings for $29 were nowhere to be found but I wouldn't be up for the velcro anyway. No emergency buys for me, but I'll go back since the %15 off coupon is still good for a few days and there are some other good deals there.

THANKS! Bought the boots & bindings for $30. They wouldn't let me use the coupon :(.

I should have gone back to pick up skis for me girlfriend though. Damn.

They had a bunch of 8.5 boots at the Vacaville store, nothing bigger. Didn't really see anything I liked, I usually buy more when Footlooker has one of their 30% off sales.

SWEEEETTTTTTTT!!!!!
Went to the Sportmart in Hawthorne, CA, and picked up those boots/bindinds set for 30 bucks,
then used the 15% off coupon on the $80 Vision board, and total out the door, tax included,
was only $105!

It was such a good deal I almost couldn't believe I did it!
Esp. considering the boots were marked retail at 80, the binds retail
at 70, and the board retail at 200!

Good deal!

This deal is still going on. They have 7.5 and 8.5 sizes in grey and brown at the store near me. If anyones interested I'll ship them for a small fee :)

I should try and find a picture of them.
