Hot deal on toshiba 27" flat screen TV. ($299) *UPDATE: Misprint*

If this hits $299, I'd be all over it. Wanted to check shipping, but it looks like they won't ship to my ZIP code in Ohio. Apparently, some sort of distribution constraint, according to the website.

Think we can PM this with anyone?

Seems like a hot one if someone can get it shipped to them reasonably (150 lbs....eek).
 


I dunno, most likely a misprint though, as it says $30 off original $329 price, unless there is some price drop comming tommorrow as well.

Yeah.. I'd like to know if it will be on sale online as well.. This would be a sweet tv for $300.

Anybody know how trustworthy this company is though? They are one of the east coast mail order houses.

Just checked Epinions and Amazon for some customer feedback. All very positive.

Also wanted to know the dimensions...here they are:

H: 22 13/16?
W: 30 15/16?
D: 19 11/16?

Just checked shipping and they do ship to my address, but at $150!? No thanks! I'm sure that I can find a much better deal locally.

Yep, I was worried about that. $1 per pound shipping is a deal-breaker, even though this would still be a decent deal at $449 shipped.

Salvador, where do you live? If you're close to Jersey, the shipping could be much worse out West.
 


This company is legit, they have several local retail stores in NJ.
They advertise on 770AM (Ex-Home of Yankee Baseball)

It was most likely meant to be the 20" Model, but they printed 27" along with the model number of the 27" TV.

The Wiz has the 20" for $299.99 next week.
 
Good deal. I have the 20 inch which I bought half a year ago for 280. Very beautiful quality. Comes with component inputs too.

So it should be in your Sunday Paper, its the standard 6th Avenue flyer, on the center page.

I just saw this ad in the paper as well. I have been looking at getting this model or the 27" WEGA but for this price my decision has been made. I'll have to check this out on Monday after work (stores are closed on Sunday here in Bergen County). If they don't honor it I'll just try getting some store to PM it.
 
can someone post a scan of the ad. i want to get ready to do a little price matching and/or amex/blue tomorrow.
