Hot deal on some old school beige cases from PSI

$30 for a full tower, I'd bite if I needed one. Quick paint job and it's pretty again.

Actually, I thought it would be really cool/funny to have a KICKING rig in a POS case like this.

Heh, if you saw the case my rig is in temporarily you'd be ROFLing. Imagine a P4 3.2 @ 3.6 with the stock Intel heatsink, a 6800GT with Silencer, hard drive, ghetto CD drive missing the faceplate and two Raptors sitting on the bottom of the case with the SATA and power cables hanging out. Then take out the 3.5" bay covers and the top 5.25" cover, grind 85% of the paint off the top and you have my case.

old school means ugly. are good prices for a full tower case though and like someone said, you can always paint them.

Do they only take phone orders, didn't see a way to buy them online.

Edit: I should've read the entire OP, sorry.

Hah!

Anybody know what their shipping is? I wouldn't mind a couple of desktop cases to throw my monitors on top of to save some table space. I would imagine the shipping charge will be too much though....

These cases don't only look old (no problem there), but they don't seem to be spaced in any kind of recent way. Just look at how many 3.5" slots they have and what modern cases of the same size have.

wasnt that W1 case originally sold by antec back in the day.
Both the ATX-W1 and ATX-W2 were sold under the Antec name. Either that, or these are cheap knock-offs of the Antec design.

And what is ugly about 887-057 or 996K-SB-P4? Both are contemporary designs.

I have a A64 3200+ in a InWin Q500 but I just brought the $40 Antec SLK 2650 AMB (?) case from Best Buy to upgrade. The new case is nice but the InWin is a tank compared to it -- much heavier metal and it has a motherboard tray.

Maybe I should just paint the Q500 black...

Very true, I have a Q-500 case also. It was a bear to cut through the metal of the case since it was pretty thick.

FYI

Shipping (w/o insurance) to White PLains, NY for the ATX-M7(c) (a small desktop) was going to be $22...

cool deal for me.
