I bought a 9800PRO OEM for Newegg at $229 and now the retail versions are starting at $226 so go get this excellent deal ASAP! I am dissapointed that I could have gotten a retail version with games and warranty if I would have waited but noone was expecting this so go get happy!
 
this is the sapphire retail and the game is tomb raider . I tried and tried to find info on warranty for this and cant find anything, other venders selling this say its only 1 year ???
 
Yeah - please answer - what are the warranties for Sapphire OEM amd Sapphire RETAIL?

Also, Do you all think it's possible to return a Sapphire OEM card to ATI since Sapphire is the manufacturer of some "built by ATI" cards (they look the same too)?
 
DiabloNY, The OEM is 1 year now the retail I think is the same Someone correct me if I am wrong? If thats the case then buying the retail version of the Sapphire card is pointless Unless you like Tombraider 🙂 There is word compusa will be selling 9800Pro retail for $199 after 30 MIR starting tommorow so That will be very hot if its is true.
 
Thats a nice price for a store like CompUSA to be selling at. As for the warranty the last time I contacted newegg regarding refurbished item warranties, they told me that OEM/Refurbished items were not covered by ATI under any circumstances. I dont know to what extent that goes to but if my card isnt under warranty after the 15day warranty newegg offers then that sux bigtime.

and the price is gonna drop some more. I expect the BBA 9800Pro to be either $220 or $200 (regular price) within 3 weeks.
