They've reduced the price on the Laptop Backpack. I bought one 2 weeks ago at $24.99. The bag is great! Pockets everywhere for cables and gadgets.

The site is nuked right now, they've slashed prices on on the sale items.

This bag is phat! I picked mine up for $14.99 online and I am using it as just a regular bag. (I don't have a laptop yet.) Anyways, it has lots of compartments, compression straps, and a waist strap if you need it. Insanely hot deal for $15, IMHO. :)

Yeah thats wht *smart ppl like you need. A non padded trendy fashion statement LAPTOP backpak. HAH ! Oh well, if you got crap for laptop such as sony, compaq, gateway, dell, winbook or toshiba why spend more on the bag used to store it.

I would not store my precious IBM thinkpad in a thin non padded enough, non secure cheap bag like that.

Assuming that its *TRUE that you actually own a thinkpad T20 and uses a GAP backback to carry it around. Hmmmm .. you dont need the backpack at all, You need a brain surgery.

get a real Laptop case m0r0n ! if you can afford a T20 why are you lurking in this hole ?

Stop being such a dick Dx-treme. Not everyone want to walk around with a typical laptop case that just screams "Hey I got a walking around with a $1000+ laptop in this bag, steal me!"

If you don't like the bag fine, no need to dis the others that do. Or do you just like being a jerk?

why even put a laptop into it? $15 for a backpack is about 1/3 what a jansport will cost at walmart.

Hah Hah! Cmon' Dx-treme you gotta be kidding me! I do own a T20 and I have a laptop backpack. Have you actually compared the paddings? BTW, deals are deals, although I can afford a T20, why would I pay more for something that might be cheaper, plus I enjoy hanging around here to read stupid posts like yours. Such a crack-up.

Props to barebottoms for the deal!

hey Dx-treme same qxn to you, "if you can afford a T20 why are you lurking in this hole ? "

just wondering... =)

actually I have a laptop backpack. Its pretty nice, it has padding on all the sides, plus the buttom. Not as much as a normal laptop bag, but enough. Its great, its slightly larger then a standard backpack and I can carry my books and laptop with me. It holds the laptop securely in the bagged padded areas.

The biggest plus is people wont steal it because it just looks like any other backpack.

Maybe
you're right. Being able to spell I can't find a job that would give me these things. Plus if I did have these things, I really would love to flaunt it by getting a trendy bag and having people doubt me. Then I can put up pictures of my non exsistent items.

Dx-treme you forget, there are students on this board. Carrying a backpack around campus is much easier and more practical than a regular laptop case...

BTW, DELL has an option to get a backpack (with the school logo of your choice) instead of a regular laptop case w/purchase of a laptop (in the academic pricing section).

Hmm...the IBM T20 or A20 is quite big for a laptop...dunno if it'll fit.

But hey, I'll snag one for my laptop...make it easier to move around for those short trips...

Thanks for the middle school flashback!! :Q

This is definitely a cool deal. For those who have it, if you stick a notebook in it, is there room for any books? And if so, will they put pressure on the notebook?

Just got back from picking up the last one at lunch from the Gap
just down the highway - blue was all they had left, but at $10,
I'm not picky. The lowest sticker price was $14.99, but I asked
them to scan it and sure enough, the system knew about the markdown
to $9.99. Haven't spent any time with it, but the padding seems
sufficient for day-to-day use. Don't know that I'd trust it to
a 500lb gorilla, but I don't know any 500lb gorillas, so I'm not
that concerned.

Thanks for the heads-up.

You can get price adjustment from the GAP. Its on their page. But its easier just taking it back to a store to return and buy back. That way you get cash instead of credit. No mail in hassles either.

The price of the backpack is somtimes $14.99 and sometimes $9.99 on gap.com, so are some other onsale prodcuts (dynamic pricing like Amazon or some of the pages are not update?).
I added the backpack to my cart at $9.99 and went on browsing. I went back to the backpack later and it became $14.99. Fortunately, I already had one in my cart.
