HOT deal on Intel Sound Morpher

eToys still has the Intel Sound Morpher for $11.99.
This retails for $50, and wholesales for the mid $30s.

I am surprised this hasn't either sold out or been raised
in price. This is very cool toy for any kid, or the kid
in you. Basically, it's a digital recorder with some
built in morphing effects, plus some decent software that
allows you to do all kinds of sound editing on your
computer...I gave a couple of these out over Xmas (and
I paid more than $11.99, too), and they were BIG BIG BIG
hits...The kids who got them didn't put them down for days,
lots of fighting over them, etc.

I haven't seen/tried the KB Kids Jam version of this
toy, but people who have tell me the Intel version is
better in every respect.

This is a good deal.
I saw this item at OD (home of the closeout prices) today marked $49.99. I fought back the urge to have them scan it to find the REAL price

The software isn't as sophistated as, say, SoundForge any other
semi-pro audio editing software. But it's a LOT easier to use,
and for the purpose (and without question for kids and casual
users) it's better...

It also has some other interesting software, such as these
faces you can create from parts (eyes, ears, etc.) where the
mouth then synchs to whatever it is you recorded. Silly, but
pretty darn cool...!

the reason why the price has not gone up these is because i went and checked: none have sold on EB@Y in the past month. the reason why dtuff goes out of stock and then jumps in price at etoys is because lurkers who buy dozens of these and then flip them on EB@Y get at them. hey, you gotta make a living somehow. i did that on the jamcams and made a few bucks, but you see what happens....

one more bump because i appreciated your input kwad, and to tell people that od still has this(i got one for godson) for $19.88. i bought one. hopefully he'll like it with the intel microscope i got from kb a while back. sku is in my accidental repost of this deal if anybody's interested.
