The problem is, I don't even have money for the shipping.;)

Wow... can you imagine playing Quake or UT on that thing?! Now that would be sweet!

You'd have to get a pickup though to lug it around to lan parties! LOL...

If you INVESTED that much you could buy a 21" LCD in a few months. Wow that thing is expensive.

I'd love to at least try it out!

...And if you type fast enough you can travel in time. :)

Oh and don't forget to apply for the Master Card for your $75 reward certificate.

You might as well charge the monitor to your new Hammacher Schlemmer MC: "Credit Line up to $100,000"

hehe

Over 2 million pixels is more than 1600 x 1200, so don't forget to factor in the cost of upgrading your system to make sure you get smooth frame rates at that resolution. I think I'll just get an LCD projector and project my video output onto a wall for about 3 - 5% of the cost of that system ...

and if you make it mad, the MCP will pull you into the system and you'll have to play games against Tron.

Don't forget to factor in the $75 reward if you apply for and get the Hammacher Schlemmer/MBNA card. That brings this baby down to $20,519.95 net cost...what a steal :)

No what annoys me? . . . when I "click here for larger image" and the image isn't any larger. Nothing like getting a good look at something they want you to spend $20k on.

Ewwww...ice cold, really. Sitting as close as that guy is must really suck - pixelization everywhere. Then again, imagine how lousy the SVGA version must be!

Hey, I wonder how they count megapixels. My Sony 10HT claimes 3 million pixels - 1365x768 x3 panels. If they use that trick then this an XGA monitor (1024x768x3 = "over 2 million pixels") for 20 grand. Actually, I'm not aware of a projector with a 2MP array, since even DILAs only go up to 1365x1024 AFAIK.

So really, this is just a $2000 XGA LCD projector with a toric screen. I think I'll wait on this one... ;-)
