Somebody already posted it someplace. But it's a great deal none the less..

It's a cardbus pcmcia firewire adapter (unpowered) which is
OHCI compliant meaning the drivers are built in under Windows 98SE, Me and Win2000..

Newer technology is going out of business but considering this is an OHCI compliant, it's pretty much guaranteed that it'll have drivers with Whistler and etc..

Plus it uses the standard TI lynx chipset which is capable of getting up to 400 Mbps (50 MB per second).. Unlike some of those broken NEC chips which can't achieve full bandwidth. Couple it with CardBus, whoagh..

35$ for a firewire pcmcia card? can't go wrong with that plus it comes with a cable (6-4 pin) and Video Editing software (Ulead Video Studio 4 SE?)

Hmmm, most digital camcorders support them.. (MiniDV and Digital 8's)..

See if it has i.Link on it, or firewire or ieee-1394.. If it has those markings, then it should support it..
