Nobody makes a decision to be a Junkie. To stop being a Junkie would be an example of an intelligent decision.

Huh? Are you saying that was an accident? He just unknowingly fell into it? Rrrrriiiiiight.... Oh and he did not DECIDE to stop, he got CAUGHT in a lie and had no choice. Must have been really bad if his wife couldn't handle it and left.

Progressive = codeword for communist slime. I'm all for fairness, but this movie is nothing more than lies and propaganda of the lowest order.

As far as the movie is concerned? Man, I'm so sick of W I can't pay attention to the election coverage anymore. I realize he may get 4 more years. If so, I suppose I'll never regain faith in America. Well, I'm in Berkeley - not America (you might have to be here to understand). :D

You need to get out of that socialist/soft communist enclave and see what the rest of the country is all about!
I've heard that some before. I know you're putting me on. It's hardly communist around here, let me tell you. Maybe you could say that 30-40 years ago, but not since. Still, it's different from the rest of the country, at least the great majority of it. I'm not oblivious to the rest of the country so much as many folks around here are, and I don't reject it or look down on it. Still, I'm not in the habit of rambling the country, so I'm sort of sheltered from it regardless of my attitudes, intentions and all I do to keep in touch with what's going on. I could pile in my car and drive and drive. Or I could move, but I'm not going to do that anytime real soon.
BTW, I'm posting here as Muse2 because I'm locked out (as Muse) at the moment, but that's another story! :D Gotta get some help from a moderator, I guess.

That's funny I feel the same way about this whole campaign from both sides. It's really funny how people see the two sides as seperate when neither candidate represents the average American citizen. It's like deciding which is the better way to die being shot or stabbed. It's the American people that lose and they never knew they had any other choice.

This will be locked (As it should be) just like the Ketchup thread. You should know better to start a thread like this!

Fahrenheit 9/11 stands for the temperature at which freedom burns, or so they say.

I thought it was entertaining. Keep P&N comments in P&N.

And yes, I am posting this to make the point that if the ATOT mod's will allow a wholly partisan thread about "W" Ketchup to be posted in HD, then it's only fair that they allow this thread to balance it out.

Coconuts has a $5 rebate, so you can get it for $14.98 here.. If it's your first order, you can get an additional 10% off and free shipping.

Haven't seen it, but I understand some of the video speaks for itself. Like Bush continuing to talk to school kids while the towers are burning. Sorry, but a President needs to be decisive. Also, he switched the focus from Bin Laden to sitting duck Hussein. He has failed to catch the number 1 terrorist in the world. The question for us is, do we feel safer than we did 4 years ago?

It is a play on the title of Ray Bradbury's sci-fi novel about firemen who don't put out fires but create fires by burning books.

I promised myself that I wasn't going to reply to this, but each time I see the title "Hot Deal for Progressives", it hits me like a hammer. I find it interesting that "liberals" themselves now don't want to be stuck with that label. Well, call yourself what you wish, liberals, progressives, whatever. We conservatives know what you really stand for, regardless of how you try to disguise yourselves!

Given the price and the content, hard to see how this is a hot deal.

There are some thoughtful and honest radicals out there, but Moore isn't one of them--it's like he wants to be this generation's Jane Fonda.

Check out http://deceives.us for a good rebuttal from someone's who's highly critical of Bush on many issues, but nonetheless took the time to defeat "59 Deceits in Fahrenheit 9/11". Very thoughtful and detailed piece, and includes link's to Moore's responses.

I say lock/ban

Considering the FACT that there are PLENTY of pro liberal threads not locked; imo; you have no basis. Especially considering this is a TROLL thread.

ALSO; the w ketchup thread is a good deal considering that many republicans feel that they have no alternative to heinz.

Heinz donated the same amount to the Bush campaign as to the DNC. For some reason Kerry's campaign can not or will not accept a donation from Heinz. The idea that buying Heinz products supports Kerry's election campaign is absurd.

No, just anti McCain.

SOB got caught with his hand in the cookie jar and now he preaches a "holier than Thou" BS on campaign finance reform.

Do some research on the Keating 5. They cost us all BILLIONS of dollars to fatten their campaign coffers.

Do the research and tell me you'd vote for McCain.

Huh? I think he should have calmly excused himself and asked to be briefed on the situation. He was the President, the country was under attack, and there were critical decisions to be made. I'm not defending Moore (I've never seen any of his movies), but I believe Bush is a poor President who gets by on his tough talk. I've worked for the Federal government under a number of Presidents, and my agency has never been in more disarray than under this President. I can only pray that's not the case with the Department of Homeland Security, but from what I've heard, it is.

Your point was made and I do agree with you.

[*] If you are going to dabble in P&N, you need to learn that when you make a personal attack, you don't apologize for it.

[*]And you sure as hell don't agree with the person you attacked after you kiss and make up.

Any questions? :D:p
