Sorry I can't really be of any help, but I just thought I'd warn you that this type of question may have gotten some useful answers back in the day when this board was worth the webspace it takes up, but it is no longer allowed. what kindve computer are u trying to make?
im putting one together right now too
you could put together a k6-2 or celeron for around $300 and up
a p3 for $400 and up
an athlon for 500 and up
(without monitor of course)

i bought most of my parts from store.ccraft.net, egghead.com, staples.com, buy.com
