I got an e-mail today (Oct. 26, but dated Oct. 25)saying: "You asked us to let you know when the ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON - Graphic card had been discontinued." (Actually, I asked them to e-mail me when the product was back in stock--there's no way this brand-new model has been discontinued already.) If you're looking interested in the next product version or a replacement solution, please visit us online at MacZone.com."
I called Customer Service, and after holding for a few minutes, was told that the product was discontinued (probably just by this vendor) and was being removed from its website. Sure enough, even though this card still shows up in a search (and is listed as OOS until Nov. 6), the link to the product page just links back to their home page. It's gone! The Customer Service rep further told me that all orders for this product were being cancelled, and she said if I really needed it, to buy it elsewhere.
Two days ago another CSR told me I would absolutely be getting this card at the advertised price. (But he also said they were only back-ordered by 22 units, so take that with a solid grain of salt.)
I think this hot deal is dead. Call out the lawyers!
