An Alpha pep66 with fan under $20 is a VERY hot deal. As long as it fits on your mobo, I'd tell anyone to go for it, over any other $20~ heatsink.

I have never heard of Outside Loop Computers.

Has anyone ever ordered from them?

Thanks.

As long it fits your motherboard?

It will fit. If you move the fan to the top of the heatsink. :) This is a very good heatsink indeed!

Its a low profile delta fan, not the infamous black label screamer. The noise on this not bad..

I paid more for mine used. This is hot. Pep 66 is supposed to be better than the 6045. Only the 8045 is better in the alpha line.

Does anybody know if this will fit on an ECS K7S5A? I would be putting both in an Antec SX830 case (which I found here for $50, yeehaw!) so I think I've got a bit of room around the top of the motherboard. Thanks, awesome deal if it will work for me (and others).

I had one of the original Pep66's and it did fit. I don't think this one will because of the fan being on the side (versus top).

Hmm, I'll have to look into this more....it looks better fitted for a Slocket.

Thinking about one of these for my Abit KT7A-RAID. Never thought
I'd be saying that 800 mhz is seeming kinda wimpy. :p
A little worried about those capacitors near the cpu socket even
though they claim:

<< **This heatsink & fan kit WILL fit the Abit KT7 series motherboards using the stock 60mm x 10mm fan** >>

Of course that says nothing about the Delta...

For those worried about space, the pictures seem to show that
it will stick out to the 'sides' of the socket. I.e., perpendicular to
the longer part of the socket, or across the clipping lever if you prefer.

I think I paid almost $40 for mine earlier this year, I would say this is a hot deal for a top quality HS/Fan,

Ok, after checking out a bunch of pictures of the heatsink and motherboard (ECS K7S5A), it looks like it should fit. Based on the location of the mounting ears and zif handle, it appears that the airflow would be parallel to the DIMM slots which would place the fan either at the top edge of the motherboard or over the 735 chip, depending on the desired airflow direction. This is good news as most of the capacitors on the motherboard are on the mounting ear side of the socket, toward the backplane (see the second product picture on NewEgg). Please let me know if anyone else concurrs with these observations.
