Folleys made a mistake on their newspaper advertisement which they are honoring.

I don't know if this only applies to this particular Foleys. I would check your local store and try it.

It actually does get 'cold' in Texas for a couple weeks.

Anyone can get a cheap cotton\polyester comforter. Goose down comforters is another matter. Last week I was checking out JC Penny's goose comforters because I wanted to use that expired 30% off coupon to buy one but the price was still well over $250 even with the discount. So $30 for any size goose down comforter is a steal.

A real goose down comforter is expensive. So this is a hot deal - no pun intended.

Hopefully can find one around Austin tomorrow if they aren't all gone.

No Folleys here where I live in NC. However today I went to Linen 'n Things where they're having an annual sale and bought a king size goose down conforter for $79. MSP is $185. There was also a cheaper one for $59 but I didn't like it.
Not as a hot deal as the above, but still an interesting price.

http://www.costco.com has the best prices on QUALITY down comforters, you need to compare the thread count + fill power + stitch design + fill weight. Watch out for the cheap imported ones...

djkball: Try http://www.pacificcoast.com they claim that their comforters are allergy free and they back it up with a return guarantee... These guys also happen to be the manufacture of the Kirkland comforters that Costco sells so if you see one you like you can get it at a deep discount by going through Costco.

I though I would throw out a question since it applies to this . Any hot deals on "duvet covers" --the duvet cover is the blanket type thing that goes over the comforter. I have seen them around but they run into the $100's I am looking for something alot less.

IKEA has a good selection of duvet covers.... I picked up a king set <includes to pillow cases> for 12.95 (back to school special). But they have a bunch from 14.95, 29.95 up to 50.00 .... Pretty good Deal if you have an IKEA near ya....
I checked out Mervyns, JCpennys, Target and they wanted 49.99 up to 100.00

I live in Richardson, TX (just NW of Dallas).

The new mall that opened up is in Stonebriar (just out side of Frisco if you know where that is). It is supposed to be the largest mall in north texas - and I think I'll believe them.

These are/were very high quality comforters and retail for $400 normally. They are 315 thread count and box stitch (so the down feathers don't shift around and end up away from the middle of the blanket.)

Anyways, I went to a local Foleys to see if I could get some more and they wouldn't honor the deal so I drove back to the new one that I originally purchased them from and they are all out of stock.

Sorry guys, I have no extras (the last one went to grandparents). Your best bet is to try to talk your store into that price.
