I just picked up a couple and thought that I'd share with you that Staples has the 340MB Iomega Microdrive for $79.95. It even shows on their website. Grabbed two for my D60. Almost cheaper than the equivalent of CF.

True AznRyda, but I don't seem to have much of a problem. I shot about 1.5GB yesterday and my batteries never went down. Even when I had a G1 and a Dimage 7 it wasn't that great of a difference. As for the Type I vs. Type II, I can't think of any of my CF devices that won't use em'!

Battery drain is a myth. A Microdrive uses about 10-20% more power, that's all. Definitely worth the lower cost per MB than CF.

:p Yeah, I was thinking about pda usages more than digicam usages. I guess digicam battery consumption wouldn't be too bad. My camera doesn't take Type II though. *sniffle* :p
