Call Bobby Brooks 609.587.1599 at Patterson Chevrolet in NJ and tell him that Johann Lee sent you.

mods, if this is not acceptable my apologies. it just looked like a very good deal to me.

PlatinumGold,

Thanks for the post, but Hot Deals are best when a lot of members can get them. A single large item, such as a car, offered at a good price will probably be best if bought locally.

Thanks for understanding.

Not trying to Thread Crap but Kelly Blue Book for a fully loaded Ford Ranger 4x4 with Super Cab and all the options comes in at just over 5000 for retail pricing.

mixmastertang said "FULLY LOADED FORD RANGER".

i set up a fully loaded Ford Ranger with Kelly's and guess what, it came out to a lot more than $5000.00

i'm not claiming that is what is being sold, but he fvcking LIED, so why are you booing me Masterxfob??

if you don't like the deal, than IGNORE IT. someone might be looking for a pickup and it won't hurt that person just to give bobby a call in NJ.

what is so hard about that? i don't get it.

OUCH! >$5k for an 12 year old vehicle, that has enough miles on it to wrap the odometer at least once.

Hmm, sure sounds like a "Hot Deal"(tm) to me, NOT!

It is for a 12 year old vehicle, not an 12 year old vehicle.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't!

actually, that's a good question. initially, i was thinking of posting it in the FS/FT forums but this is for a dealership (remember dealership pricing is higher than FS by owner cars) so i couldn't post it there.

again, it is a call for the MODS.

whatever they say works for me.

1993 trucks went up for sale in July 1992, so technically you are half correct.

Okay, I stand corrected. It is NOT a 12 year old model, it IS a 12.4 year old model.

he was correcting your grammer and you STILL have it wrong. "It is a 12.4 year old model."

I guess that is for the mods to answer, now isn't it? 😉
BAMAVOO is correct again. Let's keep the mods go busy with this type of BS, that they can not maintain forums.anandtech.com for everyone's benefit.

[/sarcasm OFF]

Oh, it has a snow plow, dump bed, winch, tow package, and hydraulic lift? Wow, that's some truck.

Why don't we price it without these imaginary accessories...

Retail $3910, Private $2950

That truck DOES have remarkably low miliage if the # is accurate. And it's not necessarily a bad price if that's what you are looking for. But it certainly doesn't belong in hot deals and it's certainly not a 50% discount of what it's worth.

Private $3910, Retail $5460

lets try it from the BUYERS perspective and not the SELLERS where it comes out to $3910 PRIVATE and $5460.00 RETAIL

btw, next time try reading the thread first. it was claimed above that a FULLY LOADED Ranger was only about $5000.00 i was ONLY responding to that ridiculous claim.

Geez, PlatinumGold must be getting a couple $K for helping moving this dog off his buddy's used wreak lot.

Move along people. Nothing to see here.

so you bump it too?

i love it. i love antagonizing people who complain about a thread because it just keeps it at the top of the line.

an no, i'm getting ZERO dollars for this. I just posted because i thought it was a good deal.

not everyone is a cynical as you.

My mistake - you're right, I put the sellers figure in, so that was private party vs trade-in value.

In reality when buying a used car you usually shoot for halfway in between.

Regardless, "fully loaded" when talking about a used vehicle does not mean "with imaginary accessories." Fully loaded is generally accepted to mean things like power windows & locks, leather seats, and other "common" options (sunroof, exterior trim, window tint, premium sound etc) if available on that vehicle. I'm pretty sure there weren't a lot of 93 ford rangers that left the lots with winches, snow plows, and automatic dump beds. :disgust:

private 5770 retail 7700

this one is just as realistic as yours and it comes out quite a bit higher. again, if someone is looking for a pickup all they have to do as call bobby brooks and see if the vehicle fits their needs, if they are NOT looking for a pickup than this truck at $2000.00 would still be too expensive.

it's simple really without all the thread crapping this thread would probably have died a long time ago.

No, you would have bumped it 40 times a day, until your vehicle was finally sold.

So **PROVE ME WRONG***, by NOT posting ANY MORE trolls/comments/bumps from your 'PlatinumGold' account, and by NOT posting ANY MORE trolls/comments/bumps from any of your other accounts.

I am willing to bet I am correct.
