I have a CS server up and running, its usually empty so I thought I'd put word out. The IP is 128.253.175.159, its on port 27015.

The server supports 32 players, the rotation includes dust, dust2, aztec, militia, and inferno.

I'm setting 8:00PM EST as the meeting time, I'll prob be on there intermittently before then. Hope to see you all there!

BTW stats will be updated hourly and are available here.

Hey, got that server back up huh? Great server guys, he had it up a couple of months ago but his university made him take it down 🙁 I'll be there!
 
Yup, its a dedicated server. The specs are below. I have CS Guard installed, and there are a couple good admins who will keep an eye on things.

Dual P3-933
1024MB PC133
Matrox G450
IBM 60GXP 120GB HDD

The connection is 10Mbps LAN off of dual 155Mbps OC's.

Yup, mastaki11a was an admin while I had it up. Those were the days 😉

That was actually at a different location, and I think i'm safe with the bandwidth-police here. The connection probably isn't quite as good, but we'll find out if its good enough soon enough.

Not to be too nitpicky, but is that version of militia modified to support 32 people? Dust, Aztec, Dust2 and Inferno are ok with 32, but Militia isn't without modifications. If you want a modded one of that, Assault, or Assault2k, I have the ones that support 32 people.

Hmm... I thought Militia supported 32 players. Oh well. If you could send me the modded maps it'd be great. Attach it to an email or PM me if you want to do it differently. Thanks much!

Well, I played someone on there just now, I get some ploss but Its manageable. Better than some other servers posted before 🙂
 
Yup, Radeon handed my ass to me...

About the loss, it may have something to do w/ my rate settings. I have max at 5500 and min at 1500, but i still need to play around with them. It may fix things a bit.

The turnout was OK, but we weren't able to fill the 31 slots. 🙁 I do think the rates were a problem, so I changed the minrate to 4000 and maxrate to 12000. If you have the chance I'd appreciate it if you'd give it another shot.
