Do a search @ Staples "Crucial PC133 256Mb". You'll find a
Crucial PC133 256Mb Synchronous Dimm for $144. This part is exactly
the same part on the Crucial Site CR32M64S4D75.

Pricematch to Crucial.com, Part # CT32M64S4D75 , for $108.79 (Damn, it's gone down $7 today)
As of 2/1/2001, the price is down to 103.89
As of 2/2/2001, the price is up to $109.79.
As of 2/3/2001, the price is back down to 103.69.

At the bottom of this page, it notes UPS 2 Day shipping is Free.
I had to argue with the CSR cause he came back with $8.50 for shipping
when it clearly states at the bottom of the page that UPS 2 Day
was free. Weird. I thought the free two-day shipping was supposed
to end.

On the crucial page I list, there is a regular price, and a
web price. The web price is 15% below the regular price, which
is the webpromo price. You want to get the CSR to match against
the web price, but don't mention the webpromo because then they
will get stubborn.

Staples coupons can be found a hotd-deals.org or DealHunting.com
Add a $30 off $100 coupon, and my total including shipping
is $89.02. If you can get the 15%, it would come out around
$75.

As of today, $103.69 - $30 = $73.69 + Tax + shipping(maybe)

Just to let you all know that I purchased Crucial Ram 2x 256 meg chips PC133 CAS 2 two weeks ago for 135 each. I called Crucial yesterday and told them that now that the price is $112, they need to refund the difference. Or else, I could return the RAM using their 30 day no questions asked refund policy. They agreed to refund me the difference. WoooHooo!

Awesome deal...

You can also order online and get 4% back from Dash. Then call in for the pricematch... I'm on hold with them now doing the pricematch...

Okay, just finished ordering. The end total was $93.16 (I think that's what she said.. I may be off on the cents)

She said becuase it was being shipped to me UPS ground, she would have to charge $5.50, because that's what Crucial's ground shipping is. This is despite the fact that Crucial has FREE 2nd day.

Oh well, I didn't argue, I was already getting a great deal.

Finally, I got 1 for $90 after going through 3 cusromer reps. (other 2 reps. told me they can't do pricematch).
Staples priced it $115.12! Crucial shows Part # CT32M64S4D75 at $127.99?
115.12
- 25 off 100
--------
$90 free shipping and they forgot to add tax :D

You just saved me $22.32. I was going to order a stick from Crucial this morning and just happened to see your post before I ordered. The savings is after tax etc. Thanks.

<laugh> I just went through the crucial sales process to see how
things would come out. It turns out that 15% that they list (and
Staples is PM'ing) is the generic 15%. If somebody pulls off the
additional 15%, I'd be really surprised.

Re: CL3 - No idea. I think when I posted this, I looked at Crucials
site, not Staples. If you get CL2 Ram, bonus!

I bought the same memory from staples about 3 months ago with a price match/coupon for about $135. Mine was rated at cl3 but runs 133 cl2 perfectly. This is high quality stuff. After that, I bought 2, 128 meg sticks from mushkin for $140 total. If I needed more, I wouldn't hesitate at these prices now. How low can this stuff go?

I went to Staples today to buy that ram, but I didn't have a print of coupon. The a$....le didn't want to give me the discount unless I print out the coupon from email or anywhere online. I don't have it...I tried to gave him the coupon number but he told me that I have to have a hard copy of the coupon because that's the company policy...So if someone here has a coupon of 30 off 100 that can be printed out instead just the number from Techbargains, please send it to me at alex2078@usa.net. I would really appreciate that...

they charged me the $5.50 UPS ground shipping since they are gonna ship it to me ups. That's the dumbest thing i've ever heard! Oh well, can't beat Crucial ram for $90 shipped.

6583: You're better off buying mail order from Staples, as it is
totally free shipping, plus all you have to do is give the coupon
number over the phone. Additionally, this is not a part that Staples
keeps in stock, and they have to special order it.

Had to go through 2 CSR's to get it, but I got it!!!

Total for me was $78.11, including shipping & tax(MI) :)

$103.69
-$30.00 Coupon
+ $4.42 Tax
================
$78.11
