I checked my junk email, No.. and I have signed up fedex insight, fedex should inform me if any package is on the way.... I emailed them this morning and still no reply... :|

Need some advice, or at least some opinions ;-)

I'm running a PC2100/266 machine right now (Athlon XP1800+) - Is there any ram I can buy now that would also probably work in my next likely machine?
I believe pc2700 would work, but I've lost track of the higher numbers (333, 400 etc.)

I just wanted to give you guys a heads' up on a possible decent deal. My Dad works for Spectek, which is just a division of Micron. He told me that they sold PNY a crapload of modules, many of them PC2700. I thought about it a little bit and decided to go down to the store. I saw PNY DDR 256MB PC2100 that turned out to be Spectek PC2700 instead. The chips markings end in 6a, or DDR333. The cheapest store right now is Best Buy at $34.99, but by pricematching you might be able to get it cheaper......

Just got my stick and it is crucial. Have it running 177(354) at stock voltage. as for timings, bios says 2-2-2 sandra says 2.5-2-2.

I had mine up to 180fsb at 2-2-2-6-1. That is also with another 512mb pc2700 samsung I had in there. I lowered it cause my new 2100+ proc is giving me hell right now.

The 2100+'s FBS is only 266MHz right? Can you overclock it enough to get the full 333MHz from this PC2700?

This is awsome, though. I was going to get a Crucial 512 PC2100 from NewEgg for 67 bucks, but I am most definitally going to get one of these if they are the same thing. Brand-wise, that is.

this is good stuff.....tested it in my system (its my roomys ram) to see if it worked, and it booted at 210 into windows, and ran prime95 for 5 minutes, I didn't get to test it that much but I think I could have taken it higher.

I placed my order late on the 28th, finally got a shipping notice on the morning of the 5th, but no info from Fedex until that evening. So it took them a weekend and 3 business days to get my order onto a Fedex truck. What sucks is that I won't receive delivery until Monday.

If it weren't for this being such a good deal, I would be really upset at CNETPC.COM right now.
