Best webcam I've ever used (and still use) is an old camcorder connected to a cheap TV card. Has great sound, excellent video, and works with about anything. Everytime I try one of these cheap USB cameras the picture is all choppy and fuzzy. have they improved over the years?

Clearly the rebate must have changed yesterday or something, as this deal has been going on for a while.
