I know what you guys are saying about not being true 24/96, but this card came onto market after the Audigy 2. I have no conifrmation, but I haven't seen anything to the contrary that this isn't a real 24bit card.

The first Audigy claimed 24bit quality, but as soon as it went to the DAC, it was down-converted to either 16 or 18 bit. Very cheap, but this card has a much better DAC.

I just got this in via FedEx yesterday. It has a sticker on the top corner that it's Windows XP 64bit compliant (drivers available at creative.com). Running winxp pro, will install tonight and see how this sounds.
