anyone ever had one like this? does it even work unless you're like standing beside a tower? From what I understand you practically MUST have a K40 to get ANYTHING w/ it.

Can you not do short range CB just like you would use a Motorola Talkabout walky talkie type thing that has less channels?

The main question is, 'has anyone ordered from these guys before?'

Can't find them on any of the ratings sites. Is this a legitamate site?

I have no idea but you get what you pay for, this is only $10, I would read up on some reviews first.

Tanner - I just read RigorousT's and I totally agree.

I'd get the Panasonic. I own the KXTR320S which I only paid $5 for after MIR.

Damn that was a hot deal. Should have bought 8 of them.

Ordered from these folks a couple of weeks ago and they were quick with reasonable shipping (& $2 handling charge). The $10 unit is okay and any cheap mag mount CB ant will work. Wally World has one ($12) and you'll need a SO-239 to BNC adapter. I ordered the 45WXST and it came in a white box with a remanufactured sticker on it but it was brand new and a hellva price - a least half of what they're sold at other sites. CB is now fairly quiet and usable especially in rural areas. Ch 19 is still good for finding out where the smokies and county mounties are hiding.

This Site is worth checking out.
Looks like they have pretty good prices on a LOT of different stuff.

Thanks for the Lead Joker :)
