This is a clearance item, so go to your Office Max B&M and check if they have any. They also had PLENTY of other clearance hardware, so check it out, it's worth it.

I just opened the box and inside was TEAC CDRW. Excellent burner, allegedly even better than Lite-on. Indulge.

I got one of these for $25 at OM B&M Friday night. It was marked at $39 minus a $9.00 "instant mangers rebate" and in AS-IS condition. I bought it and a Palm IIIxe that was marked at $49.00 minus the $9 "instant managers rebate." I asked the manager if she would pop me a couple of extra bucks off since I was buying 2 items from her clearance table she knocked an extra $5 off each one.

So a Palm IIIxe (missing software) for $35
and a Cendyne 8x8x32 burner (missing IDE cable) for $25

I guess I need to investigate the drive see who the maker is 🙂 Thanks Lukfilm.

these are teac(as opposed to the 8432, which is an acer 84321a or something), and mr. lukfilm has forgotten(?) to mention that these come with nero 5--which has a serial number 🙂 on the instruction booklet
and yes it's a quality burner 🙂 imo
UPGRADEABLE nero alone is worth $39--i been waiting on these for two months at least (bought one for $49 previously and got one dat for $39 as well)--good post
