hot car deals abound...

Great car! Looked at these back in October when GM was doing employee pricing.

Leather, moonroof, and sport package are must have options to me and finding a loaded G8 GT is tough. The 2009's added bluetooth.

Interior is quite good, roomy back-seat, and massive trunk. Great family car and a real sleeper!


 
Wish prices would drop around here. The Pontiac dealer in Omaha has a G8 GT with 2kish miles for 27,900 and it doesn't even appear to have leather.
 
Nice price for that car!, too bad the AT will turn off some folks, even if it's a good one a stick would be so much more fun!!

i think the HSV conversion is $3k or so?

personally, I think the pontiac looks better. i know i'm in the minority on that though 😀
 
Ive been looking at a G8 GT for a while, have yet to go to the dealer to see one though. Couple of things do bother me about it, it seems to have no navigation (except through OnStar? How does that work?), only 36k/3yr warranty... and I'm not a fan of plastic interiors, which the entire dash seems to be made out of. Other than that it looks like an amazing bargain.

I am sure you could, but aftermarket solutions looks like ass in most cases. Usually they are jumbled mess of flashing blue LEDs and stupid graphics.

I have a dislike for aftermarket stereos, if you can't tell 😉 😛

I dont think navigation should be too much to ask these days... I mean you can pick up a nice color touchscreen, voice over and birds eye view Garmin unit for like $200. Yet some of the options for built in GPS units still demand 4-5k premium, pretty much consumer rape in my opinion.

Yeah people really get screwed buying the nav package, but sooo many people go for it. It's too bad more companies don't follow Suzuki's lead -- they're offering navigation as standard equipment on their little SX4 sedan, starting below $16k. If people knew about this, I wonder how many would go look at the car just because it's got the flashy gadget of the day...
