Checked both accounts I have and no luck. Really sucks because I have been looking to buy this camera for almost a year! Closest price is buydig.com for $352 plus 20 shipping.

I bought this camera for $465 off Ebay in the early sping. Although it is a lot cheaper now, kindof good to see that it is still up there in price since I didn't want to wait for the buy.

I would wait till closer to thanksgiving before buying a digicam. MSN is going to be offering 20% cashback on certain retailers. I think MPSuperstore is included in their list. THey have the S30 for $349 so with 20% off you're getting it for $280 after the MSN rebate.

yes but did you see mpsuperstores reseller ratings? They dont look to good to me. Definetley would pay the extra 35 (mpsuperstore over charge on shipping) and get this camera from amazon.

This method has been discussed many times on FW, and i did it myself 2 months ago. Worked perfectly.

Comes out to $270!!!

I got 3 in my gold box, but don't have enough money to order. :-(. Only order 1, maybe for selfuse, maybe for eBay.

If you have Amex BVG you can do even better if you wait. Like I said below. Buy it from MPSuperstore for $350. Get 20% back from MSN. Then BVG to the $270 price from digitalheadquarters to get $80 back. So your final price is $350 - 70 (20%) - 80 = $200. This is assuming MSN includes MPSuperstore in their list of retailers and you have Amex BVG.

chanfo: Where do you see the camera for $270 to price match? i looked at digitalheadquarters.com and they show the wrong camera for what the title is (S30) and it is like $500

Guys, you gotta watch out for some of these places that sell these cameras at such cheap prices. Most of them are grey market, meaning they don't have a FULL 100% USA Canon Warranty, so if something happens, you're screwed. Some of the packages don't include the full 'kit', meaning the battery gets left out, etc.

Also, some of them aren't the "US" versions (if you live in the US, that is) of that product. Today, I saw a Canon Optura DV Camera for like $200 below everywhere else, and I called them up, they didn't mention they were selling the 'Canadian' version of the kit, which left a shitload of things out.

So.. just keep an eye out for some of these places. Especially with outrageously low prices. Something usually is fishy. :)

I'm not sure if it's already been posted but here's a nice review of the Canon PowerShot S30 including specs and sample pictures!
