Recently got a D550 for a client who just needed a cheap laser printer for a single PC. Works very well, fast startup time, eco mode and prints quickly. These do not have network capability, just USB.

I use a Canon Image Class with four computers on a LAN. There are several Chinese firms selling a USB Networking 2.0 for $20 or under. I got mine for $16 and some change in an e-Bay auction. You just connect the server to your router or switch with an ethernet cable and to the printer with a USB cable. Works flawlessly including request arbitration.

Really like the printer which gets a lot of use.
