Last time that was instore at Frys as well I think, I remember looking over the FAR table and Beyond TV was there.

Best card for video is the Ati 650, which also does HD OTA, but seems like nothing is too friendly with the cable or sat boxes which prefer you to rent their stuff.

If you plan on HTPC I would start hanging at the AVSforums HTPC section, its very active. I haven't made up my mind on software yet, Sage is tempting.

The LAST thing I would consider right now is buying MCE, Vista is going to be required to handle HD content from most sources and MS so far isn't offering any kind of discount upgrade to Vista from MCE so you get screwed twice.

Looks like the free remote only applies to purchases of Beyond TV directly from SnapStream (as in $70 and no rebate).

FAR still tempting on the software, but I sure do hate rebates.

Sigh, in for one, predicting a flood of these on ebay.

Shipping for me in Socal was, $6.93, $7.21, and about $10 for ground, 2nd day, and overnight. Cal tax $4, so about $12 after rebate, or +$20 after ebay.

Decided to buy one for the heck of it. Box just came in. To my surprise it came with a Firefly Mini Remote(Infrared, not the RF Full version.)

It'll go great with my harmony remote.
