game's gotten some pretty bad reviews... and I downloaded the demo... boy... the game sure does suck. I recommend downloading the demo first before droppin a $20 on it.

Gamecube version rocks, at least the couple hours I played it. Weapons were great (sniper rifle=one hit kill=beautiful), graphics excellent, control spot on. I've been hugely dissapointed up to this point with EA's Bond franchise (Come on Rare, Perfect Dark 2!) but this one is hellafun to play. 20 bucks doesn't sound too bad.
I rented the ps2 version. It was really fun while it lasted. I beat it well before the return day, but it was great! I didn't get a chance to test out the multiplayer game, but the game is just like playing bond movie. Better than goldeneye imo.
Edit: Agent under fire is the bad bond game that you maybe thinking about. Stay away from that one...
The PC version is supposed to be significantly worse than the console ones. I believe Gamespot said that the PC version lacks the fun driving stages from the console. Playing XBOX version right now, and it's pretty fun, though short. I imagine the PC is even shorter.
The PC version is different than the console version.
I finished the PC version last week. It was fun, but glad I borrowed the game from someone else who had finished it. On the consoles, I think there are levels where you can drive cars and stuff.
not horrible, not great...
it is a mediocre FPS, I'll put it that way...
got the game for xbox and as far as console games go, its awesome. when goldeneye came out on n64, it was the best multiplayer game ever by far for consoles. this is the goldeneye of today. single player mode is a lot better that what people make it out to be. the AI of the enemys is the one thing that could be improved, and ive heard the game is short, but ive already spent hours exploring different ways to beat just the 2nd level.
I think some of you expect a little bit too much from your games...
I have Nightfire PC, it has amazing graphics and it's pretty fun to play. Multiplayer is decent too although I guess it's nothing special. The demo gives a good impression, I suppose.
I was gonna buy it for the $19 at compusa the other day when I noticed it didn't say multiplayer on the box, so I figured only the console vesion was multiplayer. I can't seem to find the time or patience to play single player lately. but we do the network thing on the weekends so I'm looking for some good network games that I don't need multiple copies. CS or UT are great because they allow multiplayer with one copy. I could be wrong but I don't think Bond is one of them (multiplayer that is)?
